Hello, Fellow Rotarians and friends of District 9810,

The Conference 2023 District 9810 Canberra has the potential to bring together over 1,100 members and friends from the district in Victoria.  We are planning what will be a spectacular, highly visible, and engaging event

 

The conference will be held over two days 4th and 5th March 2023 and a Sports/Tour Day 3rd March 2023.

The conference theme is 'Diversity'  We understand that cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture is essential to realising our vision of a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change. 

We value diversity and celebrate the contributions of people of all backgrounds, across age, ethnicity, race, colour, disability, learning style, religion, faith, socioeconomic status, culture, marital status, languages spoken, sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity as well as differences in ideas, thoughts, values, and beliefs.

  • Registration & help desk
    Located in the main foyer of the Realm Hotel. · Opening times: Saturday: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm · Sunday: 8:30 am- 11:00 am Enquiries during conference may be directed to conference committee members who will be wearing distinctive polo shirts.
  • Admission
    Admission to all sessions is by your Club/Name badge. Please always wear it. The Registration fee enables the attendee to attend all sessions, • Morning tea – Saturday • Lunch – Saturday • Morning tea – Sunday • Luncheon Sunday. All other events are ticketed events, and your Club/Name badge will identify which events you are able to attend.
  • Loss of club name badge
    If this occurs, please contact the Registration and Help Desk.
  • Smoking
    Smoking is not permitted, by law, anywhere within the Realm Hotel (including toilets) or any other buildings. The same restrictions apply at the Great Hall Parliament House.
  • Messages
    Should the Conference organisers receive a message for you it will be posted on the Conference Message Board in the Rotary Expo. If you want to post a message on the Conference Message Board, please see the Registration and Help Desk. Any urgent messages can be directed through the Registration and Help Desk in the main foyer of the Realm Hotel

    As a matter of courtesy to all speakers, please be prompt for each session so that it starts on time. Access to and from main hall should not occur during an address by any speaker. Each session will be televised and available for viewing in the Expo Hall.
  • Conference protocols
    Paul Harris Fellows should wear medallions to the Official Opening and to the Rotary Foundation Breakfast on Sunday. Paul Harris Fellow Pins should be always worn below the Rotary badge.
  • Make ups
    Attendance on any one day of the Conference can be used by Rotarians for the purpose of Club attendance make-up.
  • Non-conference material
    No literature is to be distributed, no goods offered for sale, or fund raising by any means may occur at the Conference without prior written approval from the Conference Chairman
  • Awards at conference
    The only awards at Conference are Winners of the Golf and Bowls Day - Good luck !
  • Car parking
    Parking is available at the Realm Hotel. Cost is $15 per weekday and complimentary weekends. Look out for Club members in the Fluoro jackets to direct you. When attending the Gala Dinner on Saturday Evening Gala Dinner, please be aware that kerbside parking restrictions apply and are closely monitored. There is a large car park within the complex. A courtesy Bus can pick you up from the Realm Hotel, Rydges Hotel, Alivio Caravan Park. Please tick the bus box when processing your registration on Try-Booking
